Graduation
Once the “Basic 49” has been mastered, dancing moves up a gear.

The ”Mainstream” level builds on moves already learned and continues to develop your dancing skills and technique.

At the end of the Mainstream instruction period, the “new” dancers will be invited to attend our “Graduation Dance” where they will have the opportunity to meet other members of the club and participate in their own “Graduation”.  This is a fun party evening where you will have the chance to show off your newly acquired dancing skills.

Do not be alarmed at the term Graduation, the emphasis is on fun, no-one will be embarrassed, everyone enjoys themselves. Please remember, square dancing is never competitive.

For more information about the dance moves see the links for “Basic Moves” at the bottom of the Links Page.
